Illustration Friday...Imperfect

Its been a while since i posted for illustration friday but this weeks topic fit perfectly with a project im currently working on. The dedication and determination of athletes to reach that illusive perfect performance inspired me to create my little ballerina, gazing on in awe of her peers...hoping to recreate that moment :-)

Illustration Friday...Remedy

My contribution to the illustration friday theme this week was completed using only a little Hb ikea pencil and eraser so the lines and shading arent perfect...however, the subject is very close to my heart. Lewis Balyckyi is an inspiration to many and was an undeniable star. Nobody who met him could say that his smile ever left his lovely face. Tragically he was killed 6months ago by an idiot in a white transit van not looking where he was going before overtaking...hitting Lewis head on whilst training on his bike just weeks before realising his dream of becoming a professional cyclist at just 18years of age. Theres a saying that 'laughter is the best medicine'...there isnt a remedy in the world that can fix a broken heart but hearing him laugh just one more time would go a long way to making our days abit more bearable. miss you baby bro xxx
